Anime/Manga Adaptation into Live-Action You're Gonna Love!
Ever wondered how it would be like if your favorite anime/manga turned into a live action film or TV show? Well, I'm sure you're gonna be excited.
So, there were 4 adaptations of this anime&manga that I know, 2 Japanese Live-Action Adaptation, 1 Taiwanese Live-Action Adaptation and 1 Korean Live-Action Adaptation. The first live-action adaptation of Itazura na kiss was made in Japan in 1996 with Sato Aiko as Kotoko and Kashiwabara Takashi as Irie Naoki. The second live-action adaptation of it was made in Taiwan in 2005 and was adapted into two taiwanese drama called It Started With A Kiss and They Kiss Again. The third live-action adaptation of it was made in Korea in 2010 and also adapted into two series. And Recently in 2013, there were this remake of Itazura Na Kiss with eye catching actor and actresses and also eye catching opening song called Itazura Na Kiss : Love in Tokyo played by Miki Honoka as Aihara Kotoko and Furukawa Yuki as Irie Naoki. The story itself revolved around Aihara Kotoko who tried to catch the cold and geniuses Irie Naoki's heart.
There were 2 season of Liar Game Drama and 1 movie of it. Matsuda Shota played Akiyama Shinichi as a genius swindler who helped a naive girl named Kanzaki Nao played by Erika Toda get out of a game that risked her money and life. The first Drama was called Liar Game and the second season of the drama was called Liar Game : Reborn. Regretfully, Erika Toda couldn't participate in the 2nd season :( so Akiyama met some other girl named Shinomiya played by Mikako Tabe. The movie was out after the 1st season of the drama, called Liar Game : The Final Stage. These Live-Action adaptation suited those who likes to think and uses their brain. Still, for those who doesn't like to use their head on a complicated game you better just watch it for Toda Erika and for Matsuda Shota. LOL
This box office hit film premiered in Japan on August 2012. This is also the first time that Rurouni Kenshin was adapted into a live action film and the actor who played the role of Kenshin was Takeru Satoh. He did a great portrayal of Kenshin’s character and you just can’t help but feel amazed with his hotness, err, I mean the movie’s thrilling plot and action-packed scenes.
The Movie was released in Japanese theatres on September 25, 2010. Kimi Ni Todoke is a story of a young and kind yet misunderstood girl named Kuronuma Sawako. At school, she is often feared by other students because of her strong similarity to the main character of the horror film called The Ring. In the live adaptation, the story follows Sawako’s journey to friendship, love and self-discovery. The actress who played Sawako’s role was Mikako Tabe while Haruma Miura played the role of her prime love interest, Shota Kazehaya.
This is by far my most favorite anime and also live-action that I've watched. In my opinion, Teppei Koike is perfect for Otani and you can't find anyone who portrayed the silliness of Risa better than Ema Fujisawa. If only it was a drama and not a movie.. Well, the movie was released in theaters on 2006. The story are about a love story and comedy that will make you LOLing. Risa Koizumi, a tall Japanese girl, gets rejected by a boy because she is taller than him. And Otani,a short Japanese guy, gets rejected by a girl because he is shorter than her. Obviously these two would make the oddest of couples and would never be a good match for each other right? Well love doesn’t always follow such logic as Love Complex shows.
Actually, Hana-kimi has been adapted into several live television dramas. In 2006 it was made to a Taiwanese drama called Hanazakarino Kimitachihe. In 2011 there was a remake of the first Hana Kimi also called Hanazakari no Kimitachi e 2011. It starred Atsuko Maeda of Japan's popular girl group AKB48, Aoi Nakamura and Shohei Miura. Whether in 2012 it was adapted to a Korean Drama named To The Beautiful You, starring Sulli Choi of f(x), Choi Min Ho of SHINee and Lee Hyun-woo. The story is about a girl that disguise herself to an all boy high school to make his idol and savior doing high jump again.
The drama aired on Nippon TV from April 1, 2002 to July 3, 2002. The series consisted of 12 episodes. Nippon TV began airing a second season on January 15, 2005, with several returning cast members (including Yukie Nakama). It lasted 10 episodes. There is also a special episode titled "Gokusen Special: Sayonara 3-nen D-gumi" (Goodbye 3rd year Class D), it's a sequel to the first season and the prequel to the second season. The drama also was the highest-rated in its time slot when it was shown in the Philippines by the GMA Network, and was popular enough that the network decided to re-run it, and continued to be the highest-rated show in its time slot. In the Philippines, the series ended with the Gokusen special.
The third season of Gokusen began airing on April 19, 2008 in Japan and March 23, 2009 in the Philippines on GMA Network. Yukie Nakama reprises her role as Yankumi, Katsuhisa Namase as Sawatari, and the rest of the cast that makes up Yankumi's Yakuza family returns as well.

This is a list of what I thought are the best live-action adaptation from japanese manga/anime :) Let's start with~
The first live adaptation of Hana Yori Dango was made in Taiwan and it was called “Meteor Garden”. Who doesn't know Meteor Garden? and Vic Zhou? Oh my god VIC ZHOU! Okay, back to the story. The story of this drama was based from a popular Japanese romance manga written by Yoko Kamio tittled Hana Yori Dango. In 2005, Japan made its own adaptation and the television drama used the manga’s original title. Domyouji Tsukasa’s character was played by Arashi’s Jun Matsumoto while Makino Tsukushi’s character was portrayed by Inoue Mao. Korea also made its own version and the series was called “Boys Over Flowers” in 2009 with Lee Min Ho as Goo Jun Pyo and Goo Hye Sun as Geum Jan Di, our poor girl. The story of this drama revolves around a strong-willed girl named Makino. Her life used to be pretty normal until she transferred to a prestigious school called Eitoku Gakuen. The school is known for its rich students and is ruled by a group of four handsome and wealthy young men known as the “F4 or Flower Four”. There were second season for this story as well, called Hana Yori Dango 2.

Gahwd! LLLLLLLLaaawwwlliieeett!! Ehm. Pardon me. Death Note originated from a manga written by Tsugumi Ohba. It was later turned into a two-part film that starred Tatsuya Fujiwara as Light Yagami while the actor who played the character of L was Kenichi Matsuyama (OMG). There was also a spin-off called L : Change The World. Just like the anime and manga, the film’s plot revolved around a high school student who discovered a notebook with supernatural powers. Whoever writes on the notebook shall gain the ability to kill anyone just by writing the name and imagining the face of the person that they would like to kill. And I'm sure for you who haven't watch this, you're gonna fall in love with Kenichi Matsuyama. LOL
